Under or over?

I'm looking to grab some end of season bargains for next winter, but I'm not sure whether to go for winter bib tights with or without an insert. I've only ever previously had them without.

Also, is it best to wear the without an insert tights under or over bib shorts?

Forget tights, go with leg warmers or knee warmers.

If you must go with no-insert tights, I would think you would want to wear them over, so you could have the nice comfy bike-short chamois next to yer taint and boys.

Wear your bibs under. I ride all winter washing my tights every week or so knowing. I use up old bibs that are starting to show wear but still have life.

Tights without windblock panels in front 30-40 degrees. Tights with windblock on all front panels (including right up through the waistline) for everything colder. The coldest being about 5 degrees, belwo that I take the day off or ride the rollers).
