I haven't seen those specifically, but some NOS Eddy Merckx cycling shoes by Adidas show up on eBay every once in a while.

They look cool, except for the loud graphics on the heel announcing to anyone behind you that

"THESE SHOES ARE TRYING AS HARD AS THEY CAN TO LOOK LIKE OLD-STYLE ITALIAN CYCLING SHOES"

There's a guy in my neighborhood that wears shoes that look something like that. I think his are original.

He's older than me and rides a bike that appears to be a 60's vintage Bianchi.

if they're drilled for the original time pedals?

If you have old school pedals and clips for one or more bikes, low profile, preferably cycling shoes work best. I use adidas indoor soccer shoes but a true vintage shoe would be cool.

Hey Fixed I saw these shoes at the Seattle Bike Expo earlier this year and they looked really nice. I didn't wear them though. Seemed to be well made and spd compatable makes them very useful.

there are two slightly better looking retro-style shoes out there.

one is made by addidas, and is all black.

another is a custom-made shoe...and for the life of me i can't remember (sorry) the maker's name. they make them in several color leathers.

hey, all the old-school retro stuff infused with new technology is great. it pays homage to cycling history. anything we can do to bring cycling culture into everyday american life is a good thing.

A friend of mine has these shoes. I think they're pretty good looking!

Although I do agree the graphics on the heel are pretty lame.

I saw those Dromarti shoes in Austin. Very nicely done.

I had a pair of Lotto shoes in the 80's very similar to the first pair of Vittorias posted. Very comfortable. If those clears weren't lined up well your knees sure would tell you!

I personally loved the Avocet shoes of the early to mid 80's. Johnston and Murphy (!) did a remake about five years ago, only they were full leather and suede and had a different sole. I should've stocked up.
