Yow. Gilbert looks super strong. He's peaking at the right time, no doubt.

Good article on Gilbert: http://velonews.competitor.com/2011/04/news/inside-cycling-with-john-wilcockson-a-man-named-phil_169380

He doesn't use a 2-way radio...

Gilbert kicked so early on the muur, usually a death sentence, but the guy is too powerful. I believe he would be the first since davide rebellin to complete the trifecta if he wins this weekend at l-b-l. Hope he does it

Gilbert looks impressive. One gripe though. I think he sat out PR. The race isn't for everyone, but picking and choosing goes on too much. It's about time the UCI introduced a measure/ an incentive to encourage participation in all the major classics.

Last weekend Gilbert's legs were fresh while some other riders were dead.

rotfl! i can't stand Rebellin.

i really do hope PG is clean though. He talks the talk, and from the way his career progressed, you'd think that he has matured into top shape.

OTOH, Cunego is also anti-doping but has been linked to the current Lampre scandal...

He who smelt it, dealt it.

He who denied it, supplied it.

He who noted it, floated it.

He who knew it, blew it.

Okay, enough childhood humor. ;)
