Plant some grass! :)

If you land too hard, we will dig you a hole. No grass will be needed, only you! :)

William doesn't break his own bones. He breaks other people's bones. He is one tough dude and I am very scared of him. :)

Scared that I will have to give him the worst beating of his life. :D

I'm sorry to be so negative, but where on earth did you learn you basic mountaineering techniques? That's just so far from a proper self-arrest that one hardly knows what to say. Firm grip on the frame, please, and get that top tube right up against your chest.

that there are nutrients in soil, but this is taking it a little far. Surely you can find an easier (and more palatable) means of obtaining the required minerals.

it's more the approach that needs tweaking.

William-pal, you are cruel. The picture reminds me a lot of how I got creamed on the face last week. The physical wounds can heal, the emotional ones won't. :(

Weisan-pal,

So sorry. Forget the bike. I was...was...climbing, that's it. djg-pal, any suggestions for improving my emergency downhill "self-arrest" techniques?

Sandy has been training hard on a special program that the devilish Mr. Too Tall has concocted (that just also happens to be getting rid of all the spare Yugos in TT's yard)

Watch out this weekend!
