Hi there, was just hoping to get my hands on set of Lemond Z team decals and was hoping someone on this forum might be able to help me out. Don't care if they're reproductions or originals. If not, any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Sam

Would be cool to see the bike you have.

Here is mine, although nobody asked to see it. Found it at a garage sale last year.

Would be cool to see the bike you have.

Due to a horrible silver powdercoat it's looking pretty sad at the moment (think thick, claggy paint gumming up the 'Greg Lemond' signatures on the seat stays and brake bridge). I've got it booked in for a white paint job (at least thats what I'm thinking at the moment. Is someone able to tell me whether white was one of the colours originally offered?) at one Sydney's best bicycle frame painters, and was hoping to get a decal set organised for then. Unfortuntately it's not one of the TSXs - just the SL version for me, but I've heard lovely things about the ride, so looking forward to getting it painted, built up and ridden by early May.

Will keep you posted.

A lot of the US ones painted by TSD had fade jobs I think.

My '88 is SP or SPX with an unfortunate Zurich paint job done in '99...the original paint was apparently a white and red fade job.

I would love to know the final source for decals in case I ever decide to "fix" this one (although I would prefer to sell the frameset and move on frankly).

Have decided to get some reproductions made up seeing as I haven't been able to find anything else. Just wanted a quick show of hands to see if anyone else was interested in a set of repro Greg Lemond Z team decals...?

I could use the top tube decals as well, did you already order some?

Might want to contact Trek.
The last version of that Ti/Carbon Spine thing they made was available in a Zed homage version with the fade paint job and old Style Lemond decals.

For that matter it might be worth calling Roland Della Santa (longshot) or Craig Calfee (longshot too maybe) as they have made stuff for Greg/Zed.

I suggest these three options: Screen Specialty Shop doesnt look the biz but they are the best in the USA. Hlloyd doesnt show Lemond decals but you can email the owner as he has lots of stuff for painters that is not listed on the site. There is an Australian guy Greg on ebay that has all sorts of decals but I think he uses vinyl. His email is below. good luck

You also might try Jim Allen (The CycleSmiths) in the San Diego county area. He painted many of the the LeMond bikes and may have some of the stickers and/or the artwork from which others can make them.
