Anyone have any experience with this? I removed the nds dust cap and tried unscrewing the lock nut on the drive side with my two 15mm cone wrenches, one on ds and one on nds but had no luck. Recently poured tri flow all over this (before attempting to service the hubs) so I'm not sure that a penetrating oil would do much more.

There's a horrible knocking sound, kind of like the bearings are just bouncing around or something.

The ultegra 6500 hubs I had took a lot less effort to open up...

Ritchey's site has destructions. I went and found em for my 5 YO hub that was knocking something fierce.

If you don't find em there, I may be able to get you something when I get back to work on Thurs.

That would be much appreciated, I haven't found anything other than this:

Not the hub I have...

They sent me some more stuff, but it doesn't look like it'll help.

Basically it was an 'ID your hub' sheet. (I have V1 and parts aren't available any more)

PM me with your email and I'll see what I can do about forwarding that sheet to you. It *may* help. It may not.
