So many thanks out to Mavic for saving our Battenkill, We built a set of wheels for the race Mavic 28 hole sew ups with Dura ace hubs and Champion 24mm tires. On a training ride Friday night Weston and his team mate hit a chuck hole which shattered a pair of Zipp 303 Cross rims and blew a tire and dented the Rim on Weston's Cervelo. I was amazed that Mavic willingly loaned out a wheel and tire for us and TWO wheels and tires for Drew (the Zipp rider), maybe some of you guys are jaded about this but they threw on the junior cassettes and tuned everything up and they were really nice about it, Weston, Drew and Sam of Team Turner/Pro-chain finished mid pack, but they finished thanks to Mavic.

And I road my Ol' Coloraddy round about on errands and stuff, had a lot of fun, missed Serotta though. Was looking for a stand at the expo, couldn't get over to the Shop in SS

Back when i was a junior in 2004, Mavic neutral service let me ride a pair of cosmic carbones in the downers grove junior race. Loved them ever since. Its a shame I won't be able to afford their iO/Comete track wheels anytime soon

very cool, I've got no beef with Mavic... I've got an older set of Krysium Sl's on my cross bike and a set of OP/Ultegras waiting for my next Shimano build...

Yea, when I was there in '10 they had a fully-equipped tent with two guys doing all kinds of work, not just wheel service. Really cool of them to provide this service. I'd buy mavic just b/c of that.
