Hi all,

What pedals, other than Shimano pedals, will work with Shimano shoes and cleats? Well really, I guess I mean just the cleats?

Thx.

I was thinking more like road bike pedals. Something like Look pedals, perhaps.

I don't think anything works w/ SPD-SL cleats except Shimano stuff...why would any company make a product that didn't require their own consumables? Would Gillette make razors that take Schick blades?

@rice_rocket well how about Sony, Philips and all the others MP3-player company that finally hat to accept that iPod is the icon and stereo spacer without that dock don' sell tooooo well? ;-)

@ all

Back to the thrad itself...

BTW - I'm always after those old Shimano PD-7410 pedals 'cause they were so extremely compatible. Well - don't have these TdF legs and therefore no problems breaking these "too" small cleats IRS shoe soles on my road bike... ;-)

Cheers, Lorenz

Current shimano pedals, SPD-SL, have to use the shimano cleat and that cleat can be used only for that pedal system.

now if you go to a Look cleat, I know most of the Performance/Nashbar pedals work with those...

me, I just stick with my Shimano's....
