my cousin fedor is an advisor. labor is inexpensive. shiny fiber optic cable plus sibex, takhion, and maxuoh track frames are his thing. he knows where you ride.

All joking aside, many pensioners in Eastern Europe live in desparate, grinding poverty. Their benefits were fixed ages ago, and they are left behind by growing economies and rising standards of living with extremely limited ways to supplement their income. That's what I think of when I read this story, because I have seen some of this first-hand . . .
