Has anyone had experience with the Ambrosion Shimano splined Campy spaced 10sp cassette? How do they work? This (http://www.probikekit.com/us/components/bicycle-cassettes-sprockets/ambrosio-shimano-fit-with-campagnolo-spacing-cassette-10-speed.html) would seem to be a very economical solution to the Campy drive train Shimano wheel dilemma.

In spite of what PBK say, this is not a unique solution to the "problem".

Conversion cassettes are also made by american Classic and by Wheels Mfg. , they generally use a Shimano Cassette which is packaged with new spacers to make it work on a Campagnolo system.

They work very well. I have used them for years.

I have not used the Ambrosio cassette but see no reason why it would not work as well the others. I am actually pleased to see the Ambrosio as it offers another choice, which is good.

I've run one of these on some Ritchey wheels...works just fine...no issues.

For what it's worth...

I'm not sure how American Classic manufactures their cassettes, but Wheels Mfg. takes Ultegra 10-speed cassettes, machines the carrier of the top 3 cogs, and provides new spacers for the loose cogs. Hence they're expensive, but the quality is very high.

Ambrosio components (except for rims, of course) are typically relabels of lesser-known but higher-volume brands. It wouldn't surprise me if this cassette was available under a different brand name.
