Springtime and the joy of...

bringing out my HSG IT for the first ride of the year. Gorgeous day. The high got to over 70 deegrees. It was windy, but that's Ok. Wow I love this bike. It does evrything I ask from a bike wonderfully. Climb, respond, descend, and it's a chick magnet (not - just kidding, although my lovely wife thinks it is the nicest looking of all my bikes).

Yeah... the folks in the South and West Coast can torment us with mid-winter shots of green grass and warm rides, but they miss those delicious first Spring rides, leaving the trainers and rollers behind. Every pedal spin feels so good, even if the legs are a little rubbery.

As someone I ride with would say... "best feeling I've ever experienced with my clothes on"... :cool:
