Howdy folks.

I have a very clean, very lightly used (no real signs of wear) classic type wheels that I might want to trade for some older Campy compatible aero wheels. Mine are late model silver 32 spoke Record hubs (the nice ones) with black FiR Zenith rims (very much like OPs). Spokes are 14/15g DTs laced radially in front and non-drive rear, 3x drive side rear. I would like to find some Shamals, Ventos or similar 9S clinchers for an early-mid 90s aero(ish) build. Anybody interested?

Thanks, Doug

It seems like the Record/Zenith wheels would be pretty desirable (fantastic hubs and all), is the deal that the semi-vintage Campy aero wheels are just higher demand ?

Easy you can get 200 bucks for those hubs and like 50 bucks for the rims, with that easily u can get a pair of khamshin's for example.

Shamals are going to be spendy. There are a few NOS rims on ebay as we speak (12h + 14h iirc) about $250. Per rim!

Agreed, but those Shamal rims are only worth anything to somebody with a damaged Shamal wheel. I also mentioned the Ventos and anything similar (Cosmics?). Zondas might be fine too... Doug
