After 3 months of 2011, I finally got what I call a decent ride in....
41 miles in a beautiful 48 degree sunny day around the Saratoga area.
Just a hint at whats to come, as friday brings a snowstorm into town :crap:

Anyone else in the northeast take advantage of today?

30 quick miles on the local loop after work on the cross bike with new CK wheels, lovely.

I really regret I did not bike to work this morning. So when I came home first thing I did was to prepare my kit for tomorrow and lube my chain. I'm so ready! :)

Riding around the Burlington/Hinesburg/Richmond area today was amazing. Still some chilly descents with snowbanks on the side of the road, but it was a great day.

I've put down about 200 miles this year so far, taking advantage of the freak days where it's nice for some unknown reason (only to snow the whole next week). There's also been some cold, but sunny days...which I finally took advantage of last weekend by buying booties and windproof gloves.

This Sunday should be nice once more, hopefully I can get out again.

..made it out at the end of the day here south of Burlington, VT. It was 40 but sunny when I started and 31 when I got back. Great to be out, though. Waning snow banks and pretty dry roads. If the storm holds off tomorrow for long enough, might make it out again then. Perhaps skiing on Saturday though.

Funny how this winter started so late and does not want to go away. Forecast for me (NH) is 8-12 inches of snow Friday. Was hoping to ride Saturday.... One ski area near me is offering $1 skiing April 1st, and it may be a powder day!
