Fluff question of the day:

Changing my saddle from a black one with red accents to a white one with red accents. Should bar tape remain red or changed to white?

This is on a Ti bike with red bottle cages and white accents.

Leave it as is for now, decide how you want it to look after riding for a while, order some HandleBra from Ray.

but, I voted red because white just gets looking too crappy too quickly and I'm lazy and cheap... :D

Correct :)

It went through Smiley's treatment so it has new bars and stem now. Picture is kind of outdated. And the cages it has are the red Elites with white accents.

yes, very easy, it's been on there for a while and still looks good. i wont use anything else.

Mine are all acquired used :) Car and bike alike, only way to afford them :D My car just hit 150K a few weeks ago, and I hope my frame will last forever.

I like the BMW and I feel that a Ti bike is similar in a lot of ways. Well crafted, comfortable ride without sacrificing performance. Good engineering and design (depending who built the bike.)

I'd go with the red tape.

If you're going to go with white, I'd go with Fizik Microtex. The only white tape I've been able to keep clean.

Lots of Rattlers, lived on the north end of RB and those fire roads and Lake Hodges was right out by back door.

Match the bars to the largest section of color of the saddle sides...

Maybe have Ray send you some white tape with red sport stitching...

Since the red tape are still in good shape, I figure I will ride a bit to make sure I do like the saddle and such. I still have mixed feelings about the white electrical tape.

Also, sometimes, I like to take a thin strip of either bar tape color or contrasting color (in your case either red or black) electrical tape and create a tri-bar affect on the handlebar end taping...seems less something...maybe less practical/necessary and a little more artful/decoration...with thinner stripes of tape.

I do the same thing. I'll finish the HandleBra wrap with hockey tape instead of electrical tape. The hockey tape holds much better and doesn't slip or move with heat and pressure. Then I'll use 1/2" electrical tape to add a complimenting or contrasting color accent.
