anyone know, can you buy a clamp to use a braze-on shimano FD as a clamp-on FD? specifically speaking of Ultegra 6500.

thanks!

An FYI, this type of derailleur clamp is available in all the sizes and allows fine adjustment of the up/down of the derailleur without loosening the clamp itself. Pretty common, comes in black, silver, carbon and colors. Inexpensive too.

Dave, where can I find a derailleur clamp like that?

What size you need? I may have one in my spares. Otherwise the pic I posted is from Rivendell, but this guy on eBay has some: http://stores.ebay.com/BICYCLE-SOLUTIONS/_i.html?_nkw=clamp&submit=Search&_sid=4777165 If you can stand searching on eBay, you can find these clamps in all sizes, colors and in carbon-look too.

Thanks Oliver & Dave. I need a 34.9 for my Atlanta. I did an eBay search and also found many available there too, as you said.
