Nashbar has some Lake CX140 All Weather shoes on sale for less than 94frn. Any able to compare them to the more burly winter CX302?

They are there to keep your feet dry, not warm.

I bought them last fall to keep riding. I fit them to include a moderately thick smartwool sock. I was able to ride well into days where there were flurries. I stopped then due the volume of snow we had in NH. I started again a couple of weeks ago and they are doing great. The heavier winter boots would be too much for me. These are nice because if you get a day that is cold early and warm later they are comfortable at both ends.

The BOA system is nice and I took it apart to see if I could fix if if it broke. It is well thought out and adjust nicely on the bike.

I normally ride Sidi Genius and these have a good fit with the bigger sock.

They are there to keep your feet dry, not warm.
thats what I was afraid of...i guess they are the cheaper and littler brother of the real deal.
