I picked up a used bike recently that has Stella Azzurra carbon handle bars. Stella A doesn’t have an active website. Anyone have these and know what the torque requirement is for a 4 bolt stem? Is there a typical torque value around which most manufacturer’s specify?

Thanks,

John

Hi,

I used 6nM for an Edge/Enve carbon stem with Edge/Enve carbon bars (at the faceplate).

Is the stem also SA? I would say go with 5nm with carbon paste. If the stem is not SA, torque specifications are typically found on the stem.

4nm (with paste) would be my suggestion.

Never heard of using paste. What kind do you use?
