Hey all, with much help from Dave and others on previous threads, I've got my Klein installed with Campy 10speed Centaur. I have the shifting dialed in, but some of the cogs, particularly the 12-15, seem noisier than the larger cogs. The noise seems to be coming from the pulleys.

I took the cassette apart and made sure I had the spacers installed correctly, and have the lockring locked down. Other than that, I'm not sure what I may be missing? Chain and cassette are new, also.

Thanks for any ideas or info.

Chad

I have had the same problem. If I center up the derailleur on the middle cog, it seem the 13 & 14 are noisy (on a 12-25). So I started tuning the derailleur so these small cogs run quiet and even though its not centered on the bigger cogs now it seems to shift fine and run quiet.

My guess is that the chain is closer to the pickup ramps of the next bigger cog on the little ones and that is making the noise.

Have a mechanic check your frame derailleur hanger alignment.

Does it happen with the chain on the big ring, small ring, or both?
