more questions about my new incoming wheels:
-it's not obvious from the website, chris king hubs never came with skewers correct?
-what skewers would look snazzy with pink CK hubs laced to black rims, generally used on a raw Ti bike? (i'm thinking either black, red or pink if someone makes them)
-there are tons of skewers on the market, and i'm not too concerned with weight, who is making an internal cam nice skewer available in color (not chrome)?
Not internal cam like Campy/Shimano skerwers but tandem worthy so more than good enough for singles-Salsa and DT swiss twist skewers.

When I had a bike with a Pretty and Strong headset, I bought pink cages and these (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AEROZINE-TITANIUM-AXLE-PINK-MOUNTAIN-SKEWER-SET-/310204918573?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4839a76b2d) as well. They were fine, I thought, though I'm pretty set on Campy or Mavic skewers at this point. Anyway, if you're going to make an offer, start low. I believe I got them for ~$45.

Available from other makers in all sorts of colors, but I still like these silver Deltas the best. The brushed finish would be a good look with ti.

I've been very happy with these skewers [purchased from Fairwheel.
They're not internal cam, but they've held my wheels without problems, look cool and score in the lightweight department too.

Check out HOPE skewers, usually on Ebay. Easily the highest quality skewers I've seen, and available in a large variety of colors. HOPE also makes headsets, hubsets, bar end plugs, seatpost clamps. Really nice stuff, IMO. Jeff N.

well after a bit of research, and the fact that the VO sale ends today, i picked up a set of their skewers for 20 shipped. i'll use these for now, and keep my eyes open for a colored set, you really cant beat this time tested internal cam design though.

. . . would be to make sure you tighten them properly before you ride or you could end up with a broken neck!
Don't ask me how I know this . . . :(

Pink hubs? You have bigger problems than the skewers.

Have been really happy with these...good looking, very secure, super light. Not sure if they're what you're looking for.

After reading this thread, I ordered some KCNC Z6 steel skewers. They are 65g for the pair (as opposed to 44g for ti), but cost just $38.
Before ordering, I weighed my existing Easton, DT Swiss, and Bontrager ti skewers and JUST THE REAR weighed 62g for each (all the same).

I have a pair of KCNC Ti skewers..they are extremely durable and light! Yes, the price is hefty but worth it in my opinion. Both the steel and the ti are great!
