Hey guys, This has probably been discussed before but I am looking to take a framebuilding class in the bay area and was looking for some reccomendations. Preferabbly TIG welding classes. Price is not too much of an issue.

Cheers

To my knowledge there aren't any. You can get a membership at techshop and take their 3 hour TIG class but thats about it.

Tim Sanner had a class in Palo Alto, but he moved to freaking Texas.

Darnit.

In the past, the crucible's had a framebuilding class on how to make a single-speed mountain bike. You've had to have already done a handful of welding classes to get in. Not sure if the class is going to happen again in the future? Worth checking out though...

Too bad,he offered a class to build your own frame for $800.
I was going to take it but something came up and was going to look back into it this year. My bad
