What do you use to get nasty mud stains out of your clothing? I just came back from a long stage race that was pretty dirty to start and then the last day we got hammered with a biblical storm that turned everything reddish brown.

I ran it on a regular cycle once I got home, then soaked it with detergent and oxy clean for at least 24 hours and then ran it again in the machine. It got cleaner but still looks like crap.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I have prewashed using a toothbrush & liquid dish soap with good results on many stains.

were you using the oxyclean powder or liquid, if liquid try the powder and rub it in like a paste with a little bit of water

WIN detergent great for getting the stink out. Otherwise prewash with regulsr soap and brush for caked on dirt.

Let it soak in the sink with some partially diluted color-safe bleach. Clorox makes it in a small blue bottle w/ an orange cap. Give it a day or two and periodically move the clothing around to get the bubbles going again.
