I have not seen a Bill Holland Titanium (non exogrid/isogrid) frame in person ... Interested in seeing images if you have one of his frames.

Thanks

Not trying to be a smarty-pants but there's not much to see. The welds are perfect, the frame is straight, and if you want it painted Bill's fitting salon is in the same building as Joe Bell's paint shop. It's all good.

From the custom bikes section: http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=45284&highlight=Holland

Also, Bill is very approachable, so contact him and go by for a look if you are in the area.

Took these in Colorado in 2009 when I met Bill Holland by chance.

That is too funny. I was riding with Bill and our friend Ed that day. We started at Twin Lakes, went over Independence Pass and to a favorite Bakery in Aspen. Then back. I remember you chatting to Bill up at the top.

After observing numerous Ti frames at NAHBS, I realized that for me the small differences in the execution of a Ti frame add up to my evaluation of subtle elegance, which is what I am looking for in a Ti frame. The understated look of a Ti frame can be deceptive ... if it is done well, then for me it is the most appealing of all bike frame styles. When it is done ok, then it is ok, but it does not grab me as something I want to own.

I am looking for a frame that is a correct fit, structurally sound, and aesthetically elegant. I think Mr. Holland's frames fit in that category, but short of a trip to San Diego for just a look, I am hoping some of you folks have a pic that will help me to appreciate his style and professionalism.

Thanks!!!
MH

That was you? I love it! Talk about serendipity. That was a great day for riding, and what a climb.

The bikes, if it isn't clear from the pictures, or gorgeous. Never seen a better Ti weld, and the CF inlays are beautiful.

Ride safe.

Even though the above pix are of exogrid frames the welding and finish on the ti are the same as on an all ti bike.

While I haven't seen many (one?!) of his frames in Ti, I DID see a fair # of the steel bikes running around Sandy Eggo when I lived there.

I'd recommend him as a builder based on buddies that have had his bikes. To a one, they had good things to say about em
