Ritchey compact crankarm recall

Just found out that the left crank arm of my Ritchey Pro compact crankset was recalled- over 2 years ago! I emailed them for replacement instructions. Wish I would've found out about this earlier. I bought the set new (from a vendor) and never received any sort of notification. Only my random web searching for that crank brought up the notice (http://www.ritcheylogic.com/media/File/1018_Ritchey_Crank_Recall_2008_1218.pdf).

I use this crankset on my commuter/cross bike which I ride every day, so this will take that bike out of the rotation for a while I suppose.

Ha. N/A on that one thank goodness. In the meantime, I'm starting to wonder about a new compact crankset...
