Very tragic. Several short reports on the issue, but from what I can gather, she proceeded into the intersection without yielding and the truck hit her causing near instant death.

PSA to be incredibly cautious at the intersections. I am a 5+ day a week bike commuter, walking or busing when not riding, and am one of the guiltiest for treating red lights and stop signs as "yields". Of course its a question of which is less safe, which is more a preservation of the species known as cyclist . . ?

Safe riding everyone.

Don't want to start this at the expense of this poor woman but pretty easy to see which is safer, following the same rules and regs as cars or not.

Sad. Sobering to see her so happy and "alive" talking about her upcoming races and training schedules... felt morbid watching it.
