My legs just don't move that fast.
I've taken a few spin classes in the past from a track racer champion that could easily spin over 200rpm.

If you can ride rollers at high RPM, you`re good on the track. Buy a set mail order or on the forum, since no one has them in FL. :)

Hey Butch, come to spin class with me sometime. That are two instructors who routinely set up super fast (for me) long effort high cadence drills. We did one last night. If I remember there were three sets of 90 seconds with about 15 seconds between. As I started class my legs were super heavy from the rower work I did on Sunday buts once they warmed up and loosened up I was able to spin away) All this in a room with pumping jams (one in particular was an old Ray Charles film clip from an Ed Sullivan show) and good scenery......if you catch my drift. Nothing matches the feel of being on the road but my spin classes have become a part of my regular fitness routine. Did I mention the scenery?
