They look great Ray.

I need to talk to you about some new blue wrap for a couple of my bikes that are still sporting the original, non-HHB wrap.

Are you staying home or going to Austin?

Oz a looking .... I can't locate so far a nice pink in a leather I really like.
I know that Pink Sells ... I really wish I had pink ...
It will happen ...

I am continually trying to improve the product.

Hey

I can't generate a good name for the orange wrap...

so the first person to purchase some and send me a image of
properly wrapped bars .... gets to name it .... except Simley !

Now the fine print ..

I hereby withdraw everything I just said if I want to at any time.

How about if we name it you can provide some bra to the lucky winner??

I'd just go with "orange you glad I didn't say banana..."

I'd take the orange in conjunction with Ritchey's "wet white" bars. A delicious handlebar creamsicle!

Any chance you could do a side by side pic of the white and the cream? There will definitely be a roll of one or the other on my Zanc once I figure out what thread color to go with.

Fanta or Orange Crush or Mandarin, Clementine. Or Euskaltel. But sorry, I'm not a fan. Still looking for the perfect green tape, call it Appalachian Spring. Not forest or mint or apple or kawa (kawa? what?), it doesnt exist anywhere. nail it and I'd buy a boatload.

LOL :) I'd be happy with black with pale pink stitching if ever you were inclined.

But I'm going to stand behind my "orange you glad" idea, regardless if there's a prize!

Sooo... have any of you guys actually used the Handlebra?

I have been thinking of trying some of the Handlebra but want to know how durable it really is? I ride throughout the year (all kinds of weather) and replace bar tape about three times a year.

Of course I use white bar tape so that doesn't help but .... I really really like the Handlebra custom White with World Championship stitching.

Don't get me wrong but...there are a lot of things on "SHOW" bikes that I would never use on my own bike.

Trying to get some feedback as I have only used Cinelli cork tape for the last 15 years. I don't clean it I just wait until it gets pretty damn dirty/ratty and replace it.

I ride in all kinds of weather so spending $100 on bartape I was looking for a little feedback. Sory maybe wrong place to post

I don't blame ya one bit ....

100 frn for wrap is outrageous ... There I said it myself ...
So you should be inquisitive.

One major cost in the leather. It's expensive and it's good stuff.
and the wrap is made right here in the USA in limited quantities,
another extenuating circumstance.

The wrap is also expensive to manufacture. I just can't help that.
If it was offered thru normal channels, multiple markups, well ......

I have had a few complaints (3-4) about the pure white leather ..
Pure White leather is difficult to manufacture.
If there is an issue it happens almost immediately. The cream leather
is 4 times more resistant to abrasion then the previous white.
and it feels fantastic. It is also far more expensive.
Hence I discontinued the white and introduced the cream.
I received a call today about the pure white. Customer wants it to be
reinstated. What do I do ?

and for the other colors....
One complaint about the blue and one about the red.

The idea is for the stuff to last .... that is offering value.
So far, I have ever reason to believe that the wrap is meeting
this expectation.

I could offer a wrap in a lesser grade leather in the 60-70 range.
But my goal all long was to offer the best stuff out there.
At least the very best I knew how to manufacture at the time.

If you REALLY REALLY abuse your wrap... order the black ...

It's the real deal and worth every penny IMO. Looks great, is comfortable and wears like iron. What more could one possibly expect.
