Greetings all,
I'm hoping to get a bit of help identifying a "classic" Suntour seat post. This post was included in a 1980's Campy misc bin found by in the lease property of a non-cyclist. I know it is a superbe of some sort (it's engraved) I don't know anything else about it.
Does anyone out there happen to know what the exact model and manufacture year of this piece?
I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for loaning me their time and bike knowledge.

Interesting. It looks very similar to a Sugino Mighty. I bet they are close relatives.

Wow! Man are they are close. I have to agree that that are related and both posts more than likely came from the same manufacturing facility in Japan. One post was engraved Suntour Superbe & the other engraved Sugino Mighty. Either way it appears that they are both just replicas of the 70's Campy 3800 2bolt/clamp design. :D
