I'm looking for a classic round non-anatomic bend aluminum road handle bar with about [EDIT: >145mm] drop.

I've got Deda 215's and Deda Piaga's on my two other bikes and they're pretty darn okay, but they're still (ostensibly) anatomic, and I want to get away from all those little bendy curves that pretend to aid comfort but in my experience only serve to coerce your hands into a limited number of positions.

I tried 3T Rotundo Pros and I like everything about them except that my hands feel cramped when down in the crooks of the drops...so presumably the drop isn't deep enough (right?) They've got 139mm drop.

Any recomendations greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think Cinelli 66 bars have 158mm drop? (deeper I think = track bars)

Bob - for a drop that deep, i think you're looking for track bars. in that department, its hard to go wrong with nitto. their "track drops" come in at a very traditional 170 drop, with classic styling.

I can;t suggest any particular model, but it sounds like you have either a very flexible back or rather, uh, interesting arms . . .

Well, it turns out I have neither...but apparently I do have a rather lazy way of grabbing the first hit that comes up on a Google search & taking it as gospel!

I confess, I didn't measure my Piega's, I simply read the specs off the first Google hit on "Deda Piega" ...& it claimed those bars have a drop of 169mm.

Turns out that's hogwash. After reading some of the replies in this thread, I checked out the second Google hit on "Deda Piega" ...& it claimed those bars have a drop of 142mm.

So I just went & measured mine. They're ~145mm.

So I redact my thread title (& edited my OP). Now I just need a non-anatomic bar with ~145mm drop.
