I would have loved to see Armstrong train for the classics when he returned. He probably doesn't have the daily recovery he used to have for the long tours, but he was a good classics rider pre-cancer and it would have been good to have seen him make a go of it.

I personally like the ardennes classics over the roubaix/ronde week. Favorite ardennes race would have to be amstel gold. Other non-ardennes favorite is strade bianche/eroica.

Last year my favorite was kuurne brussel kuurne because of its epicness.


Can't wait for 2011!! :) Someday I swear I am going to make it to that side of the world to see the action up close.

i with you steve when he had a little heft to him he was a powerful guy remember when he was with the amateur us team in japan he showed his grit and strength

Paris-Nice. What can I say, I grew up a Sean Kelly fan! He did ok at that race, iirc ;)
