OT: Youtube Circle

Just wondering. What does it mean when the video you are watching is interrupted and a little circle spins. I know it is sort of a stupid question, but it makes me crazy. Does it mean i should be paying for a service in order to get better reception, or a weak internet connection. Does everyone see the same thing. Thanks.

that's not what the spinning circle is ;) that would be sputtering on the video itself, not a function built into flash
