I see these have been around since 2008 but first time I've seen them.
At $445 a pop I guess that's why.

For commuting and touring, I've tried many different bars and combinations there of, but I finally found my favorite in the form of a 22" mild sweep (say 5 degree) flat bar with a pair of L shaped bar "ends" mounted inside of the grips and controls. It gives me a wide, stable, short mountain bike position, plus a position close to the hoods of a road bike (slightly narrower), as well as a good aero position at the ends of the Ls.
It is the only set up that hasn't given me neck soreness/tightness after many successive 100 miles days while touring.

Cool. The Titec Jones H and J bars are similar, but with less sweep. I have a pair on the Pugsley and dig 'em.

They would be cool pursuit bars. They just need to add in the aero bar parts permanently.
Looks like the same concept as Jones bars, which are already wicked expensive, but not THAT expensive. I'm gonna run right out and not buy a pair today!

445 bucks for what amounts to the exact same hand position as this http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/components/handlebars/vo-porteur-bar-config.html 32 dollar bar. I'm gonna guess that the weight is within 100gs.
That's just ridiculous.
I'm'a rant for a second here. please excuse me.
I get it. Commuter bikes are hip and hot right now, and all the fancy custom/semi-custom shops want to get in on the action, I get it. But some of this stuff is F'ing stupid. $450 "commuter" bars? Are you insane? Serrota, mark my words- if you pull a stunt like this, if you get away from your racing roots to present some ridiculous, overpriced $10k custom meivinci commuter, we are through. :crap:
OK, rant off. sorry.
