Dura Ace 10 with Dura Ace 9 crankset?

Please forgive me if this question has come up before....

Has anyone tried running a DA 9 speed crankset
with all other drivetrain parts upgraded to DA 10?
I realize that the new DA-10 crankset is lighter and stiffer, but I'm talking
about shifting smoothness mainly.

yes it works. the only difference is the inner chain ring sits ever so slightly closer to the outer chain ring on the DA 10. It really shouldn't give you any problems shifting. If it does, you can simply replace the DA 9 inner ring with a DA 10 one.
