Anyone using white leather handlebar tape?

My white Deda bar tape needs to be replaced and I'm seriously considering using white leather bar tape as the replacement. The obvious concern is how well the white leather tape will clean up when dirty. Does anyone have experience with white leather bar tape and how to keep it clean without damaging the leather?? As always, your input is greatly appreciated!

I have some white Hurricane Bra - not yet wrapped but can tell you just by touching the stuff you will never find anything better. Also, Ray is a great guy and provide you the best customer service available anywhere.

+1 on handlebra. Cleans up like no other white tape and has a nice feel.

I'll pile on and recommend white HandleBra. I've used it for 2 seasons now, still very white, still looks good, cleans easily with 303.

OK ... let's be honest ...

The white HandleBra leather is pretty good stuff. But it's white.
It's the most perishable of all the colors. I just can't help that.
Also, white leather is not easy to manufacture.

But having said that it still holds up rather well, especially if treated
with the white water based creams recommend on my site.

My complaint rate on the white is about 1% ... about 2-3 issues
since I've been offering the wrap .

I've had 1-2 issues with the blue.

I can offer a truly exquisite cream/egg shell white leather that
will also really take a beating. Should I ?

Not to take anything away from Ahneida Ride's great bar tape, I have found that Fizik's logo white tape to hold up really well and stay clean too. Not sure how this compares to their other flavors of Microtex.

Oh yes please! Sounds perfect, the lettering on this frame is actually creme. Almost enough to make me ride from you place to William's for a free set. :D

My dad has white leather cinelli tape that has been on an Atala of his, for maybe 15 years and it's held up really well. Dirt isn't a problem at all.
