Doof's handlers ask:
"Our client is drawing up a rental agreement between the LBS and one of his cycling club kids (because the LBS is too slack to get it done). The item in questino is a 2000 Univega (junk) with Veloce (not junk). The MSRP was 1000.00. Will our client be insulting the LBS if he states a cash value of 350.00-400.00 on the rental agreement for said (crappy) item (except for the gruppo)?
By the way, the shop has absolutely nothing invested in the bike. It was dropped off by a customer for a new cable guide 18 months ago, and never picked up. Doof repaired the cable guide."
