My children's music band is playing a fundraiser this weekend to raise money for a scholarship fund for underprivileged children in the community. All ticket proceeds go toward giving kids who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to attend a good preschool program a shot. It also keeps our preschool's classrooms socioeconomically diverse and makes for a better learning experience for kids and teachers alike.
I feel OK posting this since I'm not directly profiting from it in any way, and it is certainly a good cause. If I'm wrong to do so, feel free to remove the post! It's not my intention to spam or solicit.
Here are the details:
Sunday, Feb. 6th
2-3 PM
Cohen Auditorium at Tufts University
Tickets are $10
It'll be great fun. We have a full 8 piece band w/ horns and everything so it's a great opportunity to come dance away some winter blues with the kiddos before the Super Bowl.
