I'm looking at buying a Campy Chorus 9 speed group but the brake levers have a large area where the finish is worn to black. Anyplace out there that is a sort of junkyard for campy parts that may sell replacements?

Not sure about it being a junkyard :), but Branfordbike has been a source of spare parts for Campy levers. Otherwise you can always give Vecchio's a call.

I'm assuming aluminum? Worn to black? Carbon?

The carbon brake levers are readily available but who boy are they expensive!!

But 9s and Chorus makes it aluminum. Became carbon in 2001 but were also 10s..

I 'may' be able to get aluminum Chorus brake blades, I can check. I have a supplier in Socal who has a lot of NOS 'stuff'.
