On the Bay. I thought this frame/Ouzo Pro fork would sell for more $$$. I really thought a bunch of Forumites were lying in the weeds to bid at the last minute. Heck, I thought Thompson would buy it and sell it to me in 6 months for $500. :)

C'mon Ken, give me more credit than that. I'd sell it to you for $350.

it's cause it was aluminum. And the 50 cm is also aluminum and has a reserve

He's saving his money for the tequila and dancing girls in Cabo.

That 50cm looks way suspect. First he says it's aluminum than steel. The welds look more like aluminum (tuff to confirm from the pics). The fact it has a sloping TT is odd to me. He has built w/ sloping TT in the past (rarely) and they are usually special order frames more in the 46 to 48 cm range.. That whole auction doesn't sit well with me.... Who knows maybe it really is a steel marcelo.. He/she didn't reply to my questions,,,,,, I'm staying away from that one.. Maybe my lose, who knows..

i'm 50/50... either he has no clue about the frame itself and it's a hell of a steal, or he's out to defraud someone. either way, my hat will not be in the ring either.

I tried to buy the Love 3 in 56 but was outbid at the last moment. Think it landed across the hall.

I think $1000 is about right for a used alu Pegoretti. A barely used 56 cm 8:30 AM with CK headset and Edge fork went last month for $989. I sold my 57 Fina Estampa on the boards for well south of $1k about a year ago.
