Just wondering what people's experiences have been using their 10-speed Record rear derailers with an 11-speed cassette. I remember reading once that with some super minor modification that they work just fine. I ask because I've now got all that I need to switch to 11 speeds and if my Record RD will work correctly, I'll stay with it. Otherwise I'll switch to an 11-speed Chorus RD that I've also got on hand just in case. Thanks

Let me know if you end up switching and want to sell your Record rd. Thanks.

PM Dave here, he's the resident expert on this slight modification. i know a few people who pulled it off, and it works just fine.

He's way bigger than me (and stronger) plus I'm old and he'd refuse to let me draft him when I'm tired.

I've heard of it working for some people, but other people are too timid about that minor modification to the stop.
