I know, I know, it's designed for time trials, but it's still as ugly as a bowling shoe.

At least the chain has been well lubricated.

I can beat that -

It was long ago and far away but I remember a Serotta that was painted metallic metal-flake gold fade to bright non metal-flake yellow. The faded part was a nice warn poop brown.

It was the ugliest I'd ever seen. It was truly nasty and made me a bit queezy to look at it.

The owner loved it.

. . . looked like Winston Churchill.

Anyway, last year at owner’s weekend there was a frame hung up in the paint shop that I was told had been painted as specified by the owner as “painter’s choice.” Imagine Domina zebra stripes, the Sierra Nevada scheme, and Andy Warhol on crack all combined on one frame and you might be able to vaguely conjure it up in your mind’s eye. I have wondered ever since whether on delivery the new owner regretted giving up artistic license . . .

I am going to bed now. Thinking about that paint scheme has made me dizzy . . .

Everyone's baby is beautiful....

no, ginger, everyone's baby isn't beautiful. it's just that most folks are too tactful to say so. which may be a good thing. or maybe not.

Don't blame the frame, It's all that junk attached to it.
I bet those bars could get some good TV reception

Dave, you are being too kind. I am pretty well sure that frame you speak belongs to a local triathlete.
