Can someone identify what color PR3 tire is on this bike? I didn't think they offered a gumwall color so the best I can come up with is yellow?

It's probably just the original yellow, darkened somewhat by road grime etc. Kind of how white bar tape and white bikes start off as gleaming white, but gradually turn to a kind of dirty gray.

Ask the seller?

Question: Is buying the bike gonna come down to whether or not those are PR3?

Given that the seller didn't post the model of the bike in the original listing and wasn't sure if he had standard or compact cranks until he was "with the bike" to confirm, I'm guessing that a detail like the one I am asking about would be lost on him.

And fwiw, I am not in the market for a 57 Respo. I do like gumwall/skinwall tires though and was hoping to get confirmation from someone who might be able to confirm that these are Michelin's "yellow" option.

FWIW I'd look into gommitalia calypso, Vittoria Open C Classics (tuff to find these days), Challenge, or Deda RS Corsa for gum walled tires. All are excellent

The Gommitalia's are excellent for the price.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been using the Veloflex Pave (now called Master I think) which I love-hate, so I'm just looking for other options out there. I've ridden PR3s in the past and while not as nice a ride as the Paves, they don't cause me to utter every swear word in the dictionary when trying to mount them onto my Campy Nucleons for the first time.

Yes, those are the PR3 yellow. Don't confuse with the flash yellow which are more of a flourescent green/chartreuse. If you're looking for gumwall, these don't fit the bill imo.

Conti has the GP4000 in 23c with "brown" sidewalls...FWIW.

I can provide a picture as soon as my Ribble order arrives this week...
