my brother bought me two tickets to spiderman
For my birthday -- to the saturday night performance.
After quite a debate my travel partner will be
My eldest daughter, whose birthday is friday.
She has two friends who are spending interim there...
The two of us have a vrbo for f/s/s.
I will be bring a bike for me but she thinks she'll pass
And meet up with her friends while I ride.
...I'll do some checking online on routes from midtown...
But have to admit I'm a little jealous that she has friends
In a place I've not been since my honeymoon!

don't live there anymore, but if it's rides you're looking for...

1. there's the loop at central park (6 miles of gentle rollers. this gets boring pretty fast)
2. you could bike out to brooklyn and give prospect park a try
3. probably the best riding would be to head uptown, cross the GWB, and ride on the river road/w9 route

enjoy it! as much as everyone says NYC riding is awful, it's actually not too bad!

i'm dying to see that play, in addition to your bike, you should bring your doctor bag, i think there has been a concussion or other major trauma injury every show so far!

what days will you be here, i could possibly work in a fixed gear ride...

Arrival is 5pm friday the 7th, 8th, 9th and home on the 10th,
weather permitting
I will be bringing either the uni or kirk since they're coupled
And both set up as ss...they are shod with studded snow tires but I'll bring
Some 28 touring tires just in case...
...Although I am already tempted to pack the DW or Llew
In the enormous travel case I have for the trip!

blast! i think i'll be out of town on business this weekend, but it's still up in the air. i should know later this week.

they are predicting a bit of snow friday into sat, but you're no stranger to that! temps should be mild enough to make an enjoyable ride around the city. i'll PM you if i wind up being in town.

You have to be on your toes cause of the horse poop, strollers, out of it tourists. After taking a ride there are so many things to do.

If you have time take your daughter to Alice and Wonderland statue and Cleopatra's Needle, Central Park Zoo, and the Merry Go Round.
They are all an enjoyable hikes distance from one another. If the walk is too much get yourself a map and take a taxi along the east side of the park
since these landmarks are all on the ritzy side of the mark.
