Will a 10 speed rear derailleur work on an 11 speed set up?

11speed shifters, chain, cass.

'Dave' has posted an elegant solution using some minor mods to the cable clamp of the 10 spd RD, in order to allow a slightly different amount of cable pull w/each shift.

May have to do a search to find it.... or he may chime in here...

Yes..done it when 11s first came out. As long as the RD is new, tight, now worn out.
