For $530 you can get them stateside and support local business.

OK - perhaps I was off by a hundred bucks or so...

yea, its hit or miss with the kind of deals you get with the UK suppliers, its still a decent deal, some campy parts are just way better deals than others.

If the price is reasonanle and they are what you want you should just buy them. I have been riding the same set of Neutrons for the last five years, They have been straight and true. Bought another set for my other bike.

Or....Record hubs, DT or Velocity rims, black DT spokes, built well. Cheaper, uses standard 'stuff...just a counter point from a 'wheelbuilder.

They were $538, shipped (my two pairs of wheels from them last month each took 1-week to arrive in NJ) for the clinchers, with the Xmas discount. Think they are back up to ~$570, shipped. No complaints with their service. The reason that I went with new Campy wheels is that the rims have been redesigned to allow mounting tires and doing flat repairs on the road with a reasonable effort. Mounted the tires on these new wheel sets with my thumbs. A huge improvement IMHO.

Black only since 06.. On the plus side you can buy used ones, service them and they are like new...

Black and 32h only altho a couple of Campagnolo suppliers still have a few Chorus/Centaur and 28h Record. They go fast..I'd have to call to see if they still have them. gettin' pricey as well.
