Paying forward a bag o' swag

I originally received this small box of stuff sent along with a purchase from a dearly departed forumite (rhymes with "Wiper"). It is full of small bits, mostly cycling related, but some just fun or edible. I thought it would be fun to send this along to another forumite, who would take what he/she wanted and add new items of approximately equal value, then send it along to another forumite...think pass along the white elephant.
If anyone is interested, please let me know. I'd like to send it to someone who I have personally dealt with, or to a moderator who hasn't threatened to spray paint my mailbox pink because I live in sunny California (sorry, BBD).
I will take a photo of the box before I send it, since I think it would be fun to see how the box contents change over time.

5/8/13: After being PMd by the current 'owner of the Bo'S, it sounds like the box has morphed into the Goodwill reject box. I can tell you what I remember some of what was in it when I sent it out:

A Trek seatpag filled with M&Ms, a couple of new innertubes, some cycling socks (new) that were too small, a set of tire irons, a New Belgium headtube badge, and a nice beer...that kind of stuff. It would be really great to continue in this spirit.

As of 3/21/13: To keep it moving: If you have the box, I would think 2 attempts via PM or email over a 1-2 week period should be sufficent in attempting to contact the next recipient. If you do not receive a reply, move on down the list and let me know you have skipped a person. If they want back in at a later date, I will re-add them.

First, pay her a compliment by telling her she looks well-prepared for winter and that her tail looks particularly bushy today.

Then:
Tell her that you have good news: She can stop worrying about party favors.

Follow that by telling her that you found out the new house was not weatherproof, and that you were afraid for her comfort so you passed on it.

Finish by telling her that the new house came with extra bike parts....that'll do the trick.

The box arrived Thursday, on the back of a USPS burro. I guess times are really tough. Tigger seemed none the worse for wear, but was eager to get out of the box and have a libation. I poured him a thimble full of some spirits that were inside, and left him there while I fondled the goodies from previous recipients.

When I returned 20 minutes later, Tigger was singing the Doors', "Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire," and contentedly watching the flames rise from the box...I hurriedly rescued him, and doused the flames. Unfortunately, some of the carbon bits did not survive the inferno. I took away his lighter and tried to explain how the next time, things might not turn out so well. As he was being stuffed into a new box with the rest of the shwag, I could hear his drunken-slurred refrain:

"He's Bouncey, bouncey, bouncey, bouncey, fun, fun, fun, fun fun!!!

Moral of the story: Tigger, tequila, and plastic bike parts don't mix.

The box and Tiger arrived safely and soundly during a Tornado watch.
After taking it on the left flank( see OT thread dura ace crank failure),
it was a really good spirit lifter to receive this box.

Tiger is really bummed about the results of the golf tourney at Augusta.

I hope everyone had a good holy week and got to spin outside.
As for me I went to surf city nc with some relatives on my wifes
family.

A great deal of the bruising to my ribs/vertebrae has subsided and
I am a lot more mobile. Since I am not riding I feel more suceptible
to colds and crap. I am currently sporting a nasty sore throat and the croupy cough is aggravating the crap out of the sore ribs. But at least I am not having the freaking spasms which were tensing up by back muscles. NO FUN

As of 9:00 am the box of swag is now headed to Wapole, Ma.
As soon as the coughing stops I plan to take a spin class.

Apparently Tigger had called Your Friend and let him in the house. They got into my stash of HandleBra and went nuts!! As instigator of this mess, I think it's time I reviewed the contents of the box...seems the contents have changed a bit since I sent off a couple of half-eaten doughnuts and a box of used bandaids to fourflys.

The current 'owner' of the box showed it to me about 2 weeks ago. What was in it was relatively underwhelming...lots of non-bike related items. Looks like someone cleaned out their CD collection and threw in the (non-cycling) laundry in for good measure. Although there is no great excuse for the delay, I must in part take the blame since I told him I'd bring over some items to 'refresh' the box.
FWIW, the person in question is basically living out of his laundry room, along with his wife and 2 kids while the remainder of the house gets redone, and he's trying to name his dog, so there are some pressing issues on his plate.

See I like the mystery. You dont know what is in it, just that it is something and it is heading your way. I like limiting it to shots of Tigger playing with matches. No one has to OUT DO the last guy, and we all have a good time.
