25 miler on my winter "whip"

My 72 dollar city auction winter whip.
Salt,ice,snow??
No problems.
You can't hurt this POS.
Roads were dry in the unemployed wilderness of northern Mich.
So out came the Trek and on went the layers of clothes.

One thing about those Treks, they had clear coat that's about as thick as 2 layers of electrical tape. Always had pretty nice looking paint too.

snowing all day here, started about 11PM last night, must be 6" by now. I took this pic just before dark in my back yard.

The high over Meechegun sent all that crap your way.
This is the first pavement I've seen in a month.
Hoping it holds out one more day to get out and ride tomorrow.
I paid 22.00 for the Trek at our city auction.
Then put another 50 into it and I've got something to ride and not worry about damaging it.

I have vivid memories of coveting a Trek 1000. If memory serves, they were pretty quick.
