carbon fork ?

does anyone know if a carbon fork can be refinished? i have a brand new ouzo pro with decals under some clear coat, that i don't want to keep on it. is there any way to strip or remove the clear coat without damaging the fork?

Wet sanding and lots of rubbing compound.
