Brooks saddle noise?

My Brooks ticks a lot. It has 120 miles on it. Is this part of the break in? Should I remove the paint on the rails? it is a b17 and is mounted on a greased and secure thomson seat post. Thanks John. :banana:

I have a B67 and a Thompson post. The post has a tenacious
grip on the seat. I don't believe that is the cause of the noise.
I suspect it is the leather. I've learned to appreciate the noise.

Otherwise my bike is too quiet.
