Would anyone know the thread size of the F-1 fork used for the
'97 Col Al??
And....would a 1" fork work with a 1 1/8" head-tube??
common sense would suggest..."probably not"..but who knows?
thanks!

I believe that all Colrado Als were 1" HT's.

I read on here that all F1s were 1" with a 43 rake. I also heard that there are adapters that can be used to make a 1" fork work on a 1 1/8" head tube. Don't know who makes them and not sure I would want to use one.

I have one of those Adaptors. I have a F1 on my Legend. It's called
a Chris King Devolution Headset. Works Perfectly. It isn't an adaptor,
but an complete headet designed to solve this problem.

Carlos,

The CK devolution solution is a headset not a Rigged or Jimmied afterthought.
Expect flawless perfection. ;)
