I sold a helmet on ebay with fixed shipping charge and shipping info that clearly states that item will ship to Continental U.S. only but the buyer is in Puerto Rico.

The helmet will go into a Bell helmet box and I have the fixed rate at $10.75 from Southern California. I was planning on USPS to ship.

What would you do?

You can ship it USPS first class mail for $16. So you'll lose a few bucks... but probably the least hassle for you. Do not use a flat rate priortiy box, it will be much more expensive in this case.

Point out the problem and ask for your $6. Why give away a 6-pack of Sierra Nevada IPA?
