I'm due to change out the bearings in my Campy Ultra-Tork crankset.

I'm curious if anyone has experience using the Park tool OR maybe there is an alternative to purchasing the park tool??

Is there a comparable tool that will remove the bearing cartridges?? An auto supply store near me rents tools and I wonder if there is a similar tool in the auto repair world.

I bought the Park tool, but have yet to use it. I think you could modify an auto tool to work just fine, not sure if it's worth the effort.

I got the Park tool a a good discount when it first came, so YMMV.

I have a Cyclus puller and installer. I recommend using the Wheels Manufacturing bearings(I have them, BTW). Double seal, US made, not expensive. Remember to remove the c clip from the RH side before you pull the bearing off.
